Yes! you read right. This particular use is dedicated to all my oily skinned barbies. Since I started my lemon therapy, the degree of oiliness of my skin has reduced drastically! Amazing huh?! Using the "Wonder Fruit" 3-4 times a week does the trick and does not over dry the face.

4. Say goodbye to Blackheads
Lemons also work to eliminate blackheads.
How does it work??
Well, squeeze fresh lemon juice and rub it on the areas with blackheads. Repeat this process every night before you go to bed until the blackheads disappear.
Thank me later *wink

There are so many more uses of the 'Wonderfruit" and it is indeed an overlooked fruit, used the right way it will become your go to DIY toner and cleanser.

  1. As much good as lemon does, i hear that it could also act as a skin lightener, or what we call bleaching agent. I read that rather than using the lemon directly, you could mix it up with cucumber, and the lightening effect would be reduced...that is for those who want to maintain their skin tone tho.

  2. You're right with ur observation, lemon brightens the skin(wouldn't call it bleaching or lightening) and should be used in moderation as I mentioned. but it can also be mixed as u mentioned.
