The Beauty Blender Sponge

Hello Gorgeous,

Today's topic is really something that has bugged so many makeup artists, makeup lovers, about-to-become makeup artists, curious people, scientists....I could go on and on....lol.
The bottom-line being that its a question that needs an answer.

So I'll ask again,
"How do we use a beauty blender?!"

This question is deeper than it seems, because the art of beauty blending is a skill that has been passed on from artiste to student, from YouTube to makeup lovers.

We all have seen the various techniques on the world wide web (lol).

To my curious newbies, how does a beauty blender look?
And how do we choose the right one??

Now that we have established that according to the manufacturers, we need all the beauty blenders ever made ( this market must sell...lool), Here is a step by step walk through of how I use my beauty blender

STEP 1

WET IT

I'm sure the first time we tried to use it, without consulting with the almighty internet, it soaked up all our foundation and left us sad and confused....well that's simply because the first thing you ought to do is to soak the little eggy ball in warm water, then squeeze it out till there is a bit of moisture left.

STEP 2

Prep it

Please don't apply your foundation directly on the sponge. Apply on the back of your hand or on the mixing palette. Then dab with the sponge and application can begin

STEP 3

APPLY, BLEND and BLEND SOME MORE

Dip the round bottom end into your foundation and apply to your skin in small, gentle strokes. No need to apply much pressure, the sponge will do most of the work for you.

STEP 4

spots and CORNERS

To Apply concealer under eyes, to cover spots, sculpt, the pointed end is the best way to get into the corners
Simple isn't it??
still don't get it?? That's okay
